Car is as good in person as it is in the pictures Really wonderful car; has just under 30,000 miles on it. This is what i know 3/27/2006 - Manufacture date 5/17/2006 - PDI Date 5/19/2006 - In-service date 5/19/2006 - Reatail Date The selling dealer was Jordan Nissan Co., in Ames, Iowa. As far as I can tell, it no longer exists but i think it became Lithia Nissan of Ames. This is the first shot i have of the odometer. 29,821 miles in how many years????? I was told that the first owner was a female doctor. I have no proof whatsoever. All electric top Looks pretty good with the top down! Side view is nice CAr is very clean, very red. Can i keep it that way??? The headlight covers look like they just came out of the box. Interior is spotless. Engine compartment has been nicely detailed. Note the Brembo brakes - this is the GT model. Still looks like fun with the top up, although I have to admit I have hardly driven it that way. Here is the Texas inspection report Even got a Z in the license plate number!!! This came with the car. Allows you to install the front plate on the tow hook without putting holes in the front apron. and here is the info when the previous owner ordered it As long as you are not buying a lot of groceries, its a pretty perfect car to take! I believe it was traded in, then wholesaled, and ended up at World of Wheels, Des Moines, Iowa. They had it listed for $24,900 on 7/30/2010. I have the printout of the internet listing. I also have the sales receipt - it sold for $23,000 to a gentleman from West Des Moines. The odometer was listed as 8,579. Looks like he was also looking at tires; there is an ad and some numbers written on it on March 7, 2011 he ordered tires; looks like they were installed on March 16, 2011 at Downey Tire Service in Indianola, Iowa. He spent $1,206.19 total. on 7/6/11, mileage was 12,833. Looks like he went to the dealer for a 12,000 mile checkup On 2/28/11 he purchased the Front License Plate Bracket. This screws into the tow hook thread so you don't have to put holes in the car to mount a front license plate. It was $91.41 plus $9.95 for Insurance and Handling for a total of $101.36. He has all the receipts and ordering information as well as this page. On 4/22/11 he had a clearshield installed on the bumper and mirros by Dent Eliminators in Urbandale, Iowa. He spen $275 plus $16.50 tax for a total of $291.50. I'm thinking somewhere along the line that was removed. It is certainly no longer there. on 6/7/2011 at 12,833 miles, he went to the dealer for an oil change on 10/7/11 at 14,687 miles, he went to the dealer for an oil change and a complimentary multi point inspection. and a complimentary multi point inspection. on 05/04/12 at 16,113 miles, he went to the dealer for an oil change and a complimentary multi point inspection on 11/2/12 at 17,890 miles he went to the dealer for an oil change, replace air filter, and a complimentary multi point inspection. on 7/5/13 at 15,585 miles he went to the dealer for an oil change and a complimentary multi point inspection. Clearly something is wrong here. I suspect it was 18,585 miles. on 3/20/14 at 19,737 miles he went to the dealer for an oil change and a complimentary multi point inspection. on 10/7/14 at 21,761 miles he went to the dealer for an oil change and a complimentary multi point inspection. on 7/30/15 (no mileage listed) he purchased a new battery. That is likely still in the car, so it is just under 2 years old. on 4/14/16 at 23,995 miles he went to the dealer for an oil change and a complimentary multi point inspection. The car was sold to its third owner at 24,526 miles on June 25th, 2016, and registered in the State of Oklahoma on the 27th. He paid $508 to register it. I paid a good bit more! Here is the Iowas Damage Disclosure Statement And the odometer disclosure statement on 12/31/16 and 28,773 miles it received an oil change. These receipts shows that the cabin air filter and the engine air filter were due for replacement at 15,000 miles and are very overdue. I am getting a K&N air filter for the engine. It also shows the transmission, differntial, and cooling systems are due for service at 30,000 miles. that will be soon. on 3/18/2017 it was sold again, to me, and driven from Edmond, OK, back to Richardson, with the top down the entire time! As of 3/23/17, it has about 29,850 miles. Still under 30,000!!! its the perfect grocery getter!!! In late April/early May, Sue and I took a car trip. When we were finished, this was the mileage. But that was in Philadelphia. When the car finally came home, it had 34,289 miles on it! Change Oil, Transmission Fluid, and Differential Fluid Time to do the 30k service. there's a lot. found this info on the forum (good info!) Tools and Supplies Used 10mm Allen Wrench Drain pan Floor jack Four jack stands or a lift. Suction Pump/Gun. (I bought mine from Advanced Auto for $10. Harbor Freight has one for $4.99.) Rags Replacement oil 75W90 about 2 quarts. About 4 quarts for transmission. Two replacement crush washers. Transmission API GL-4,Viscosity SAE 75W-85 Differential API GL-5, Viscosity SAE 80W-90 Procedure Make sure wheels are blocked. Raise and support car making sure that it is as level as possible. NOTE: It is better to drain the fluid when it is warm so it flows more easily. Use 10mm allen wrench to loosen fill plug (to ensure you can refill the differential before draining old oil). Using 10mm allen wrench, loosen drain plug and allow diff to drain. Wipe off excess oil from drain plug along with fine metal shavings. Remove old crush washer and install new washer. After diff/trans is drained, reinstall drain plug. 23 - 28 ft-lbs for transmission; 55 - 61 ft-lbs for rear diff. Use 10mm allen wrench to remove fill plug. Remove old crush washer and install new washer onto the fill plug. NOTE: To fill suction gun, I took off the top, pulled handle out of the gun and poured the oil into it. You could stick the hose into the bottle and suction it out but it wont pick up as much. Using suction gun, fill diff/trans to lower level of fill plug and allow overflow of fluid to drain off. Reinstall fill plug. 23 - 28 ft-lbs for transmission; 55 - 61 ft-lbs for rear diff.11. Double-check all plugs for correct torque (DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN) and wipe off any excess oil. Lower the car. I've had it just about a year. The guy wanted to drive the car to test the brakes. He was on the phone. i told him to get off the phone before he drove my car. he said OK and put his hand out for the keys. I said get off the phone. He hung up and put his hand out. I said this is a very original car with only 36,000 miles. He let me drive. 2/25/18 Sue and I went to the Decatur (Texas) area to check out some wineries. Stopped here for lunch. Not sure where this was taken, but i was out, somewhere, doing something, in this car 9/19/18 Finally got new tires for this puppy. was probably a little to lax on this, but i did do it. And i discovered that the old tires were a little old, a little hard, and not too grippy! Here is what i got. I like these! I only lost control of the car once; I was chasing a Suburu STI on an off ramp and he got around that corner better than i did! April 2019 I'm up to almost 37,000 miles. How about that! This car just does not get driven that much!!! This is my Saturday hair appointment. Just letting it all hang out!!! Went to visit my son in Garland. just had to take the Z!
